He was born on 27th April,1983 at Adisaptagram of Hooghly in West Bengal. His father name is late Mondal Beskey and mother is Tusu Baskey.

                 He has passed M.A in Bengali. He has done a School of Languages and Culture course in Santali from Rabindra Bharati University. Sitaram has worked as an assignee announcer in the Santali Section of All India Radio,Kolkata. He has worked as a Project Fellow in 2019 from Jadavpur University “Resource Mapping the early Recordings of Traditional Santali Song`s” in this project. He has worked as a Research Assistant in 2022 from EAP 1300 School Of Cultural Texts and Records Jadavapur University “Locating and Digitising Early Santali Periodicals Published Between 1890 and 1975 In Eastern India” in this project.
